Hercules cares passionately about placing ex-armed forces people into jobs in the construction industry. Our own workforce contains many veterans whose transferable skills have benefitted our team. We chose to partner with BuildForce, which is a CITB funded organisation that leads the way in identifying people who are transitioning away from the military or are veterans who may be looking for a new job.
BuildForce organise Insight Days which are attended by veterans and leavers with many businesses from the industry exhibiting and giving advice and support. Hercules have attended these events for the past year which are hosted by the likes of Wates and Bovis Homes. Our aim is to become a leading voice in this space with a clearly identified pathway onto our projects.
Our support of the Armed Forces has been cemented into our policies and we now hold the Bronze ERS Covenant Award, working towards Silver later this year
